Lesson focus
You already hold basic rights in NSW. The problem is the freeze that shows up when a badge and a stern voice appear. This module closes that gap with three core rights and a clear map of LEPRA.
Three rights to lock in
- Silence — “I’m exercising my right to silence” (name and address may still be required in specific situations).
- Search consent — “I do not consent.” Comply physically if they assert a legal power; never physically resist.
- Identification — calmly ask for name, rank, and place of duty.
